Hybrid Learning Overview
A New Approach to Learning
Hybrid learning at John Paul II is a new model, distinct from the lockdown experience. It blends in-person and online education, with teachers instructing both at school and from home. Online classrooms allow students to continue learning, whether they’re in the classroom or isolating. This flexible system ensures that even when the normal timetable is interrupted, students can still access their classwork through platforms like Google Classroom and Microsoft Teams.

How to Stay Connected
Students need to bring fully charged laptops daily and check emails for updates. Teachers are available via email for support, and parents can reach out through the school’s staff page. For those learning from home, coursework is accessible in online classrooms using their school credentials. Resources like Education Perfect and the school library blog are available to assist with learning. Parents can contact office@johnpaul.ac.nz for additional support or suggestions on online learning.
